FAQ

Is CBD Oil Legal?

Q: Is Hemp-derived CBD Oil legal in my state?

YES!

This is a common question for our customers at AlchemistAlley.com.

If you live in the United States, the answer is simple. YES. All of the CBD Oil products we sell on our website are made from hemp and are therefore legal to ship to all 50 states in the U.S., as well as to over 40 countries worldwide. If our CBD Oil products were derived from medical marijuana, it would be illegal in many states and to ship nationwide. However, we do not sell any medical marijuana-derived CBD products on our site, only pure hemp-derived CBD Oil products.

Our trusted vendors have been providing quality CBD Oil products for many years and have gained considerable reputations in the industry for the excellent grade and consistency of their products. We personally visit or interact with each of our vendors to ensure the high standards of GaiaHemp.com are also being met.

Q: Is CBD Oil legal in my country?

This is not as straightforward a question as to whether CBD oil is legal in the US, unfortunately.

Most of the time the answer is yes, but not always. We suggest you contact the customs authority in your area and inquire as to whether or not you can have hemp-derived dietary supplements shipped to your country from the United States. While we are able to ship to your country, we cannot guarantee delivery if the customs department does not accept dietary supplements from the United States.

Common questions regarding CBD oil and other CBD products.

Q: Where is the order form I need to fill out to place by order?

A: You can find our printable order form HERE. Just print it out then send it to the address on the form with payment and we will ship your products the same day we receive payment.

Q: Why do you ONLY do mail order?

A: Currently we ONLY do mail order because the banks and merchant processors we would have to use either wont allow people in this industry to process credit cards or we would have to use offshore accounts and pay huge amounts for every transaction processed, in the realm of 27%. Keeping everything mail order means we can offer our products at lower prices and still pay our bills to make sure we are here in the future for those who need CBD.

Q: Will you ever start processing credit cards again?

A: We certainly hope so as this was much more convenient both for the customer and us but at this point in time there is no domestic merchant processors that work with CBD oil products.

Q: What if I don’t have a printer to print out your catalog and order form?

A: This is not a problem at all, the order form is just a convenient way for us to know what it is you want to purchase and so we have all the pertinent info we need to send you your product. If you don’t have a printer you can either email us this info or just include a piece of paper with this info when you send us the money order. The info we need is:

1-The item you wish to purchase including size, flavor, brand, strength and quantity

2-Your full mailing address including your name, and full address

3- Your email address and phone number so we can reach you in case we have any questions pertaining to your order

4- Make the money order or check out to Alchemical Woman. and send to

Alchemical Woman LLC.
3645 Marketplace Blvd #130-645  East Point, Ga 30344

(Be sure to not put Alchemical Woman on the money order or check or we will not be able to process your order as our company is called Alchemical Woman and just the website is called AlchemistAlley.com, please leave the “memo” area empty)

Q: Will CBD help with “XXXXX”

A: While we can not make any claims as to what CBD oil can and can not help with there are a lot of resources out there that can help explain things further.

Q: What is CBD oil?

A: Our CBD oil is a product high in CBD/Cannabidiol and is derived from the hemp plant.

Q: How do you make CBD oil?

A: CBD oil can be made many different ways but the most common way and the way all the products sold on alchemistalley.com are extracted is either by steam distillation or CO2 extraction. Other methods found more commonly in medical marijuana CBD extraction is ethanol extraction, butane extraction, propane extraction and others.

Q: Do you have a catalog and can I order from it offline?

A: Yes absolutely, and you can pay with check if you like. Our printable catalog and order form can be found by clicking HERE

Q: Is hemp derived CBD the same as Marijuana derived CBD?

A: Yes, the difference is in what else is extracted from the plant other than CBD. Hemp derived CBD will have extremely small amounts of THC, where as marijuana derived CBD will commonly have large amounts of THC. One has the potential to get you “high” and one doesnt.

Q: Is CBD going to help with whatever ailment I might have?

A: Since CBD is not a drug we cannot say it can cure, prevent or treat any disease. At AlchemistAlley.com we encourage you to do your own research, and as always consult with your physician before taking any dietary supplement.

Q: Is hemp derived CBD oil legal in my state?

A: Yes, CBD oil derived from industrial hemp is legal in all 50 states because it is a byproduct of hemp and not marijuana.

Q: Is CBD oil safe to take or ingest?

A: We have had no experience where someone had an adverse reaction to taking the oils we sell however we are not doctors and cannot give advice on such topics. As such we recommend anyone interested in using hemp derived CBD products purchased from AlchemistAlley.com consult with their physician prior to starting any dietary supplement program, including any CBD products.

Q: Will your products show up on a drug test?

A: Typical UA analysis tests for THC and not CBD so while it is very unlikely any of our products will make you fail a drug test we advise against using any CBD products if you are concerned about failing a drug test.

Q: Do you ship to my state?

A: YES, we ship to all 50 states and multiple countries, in most cases the same day the order is placed.

Q: Can you overnight my product?

A: Yes we can overnight your order, just include $25 extra dollars in the money order and we will overnight you your order as soon as we receive payment.

Q: I live in Brooklyn/Atlanta, can I pick up the package in person and not pay S/H?

A: Yes you can pick it up in person and no you dont need to pay the S/H. Just email us at info@AlchemistAlley.com and let us know you are from Brooklyn/Atlanta and we will give you a promo code to remove the shipping charge. Q: What is vaping and how does it work?

Vaporization is a technique for avoiding irritating respiratory effects that are associated with smoke from plant combustion. These days, a vaporizer is no longer a big floor steamer with ‘Vicks’ in it. A PV or Personal Vaporizer (invented in recent years) is not only an excellent alternative to cigarettes, but can also deliver ‘concentrated aromatics’.

It’s like Aromatherapy taken to new heights!

A PV can be a small, cigarette looking device or a larger ‘pen’ such as the one below:

In this example the longer bottom piece is a rechargeable lithium battery. The top piece is a vaporizer composed of a tank that is filled using an eyedropper, and a heating element most commonly referred to as a “coil head”. The battery heats the coil to the perfect temperature that vaporizes vegetable glycerin and its included organic flavorings (scientifically called terpenoids).

Q: What is a Botanic Tincture?

Alchemist Alley tinctures is home of the Original Botanic Tincture with a line of 15 unique formulas produced in the beautiful state of Paterson!

They are fragrant, flavorful herbal tinctures that are uniquely designed to be dripped into a tank, cartridge or drip tip of a personal vaporizer. Our herbal flavors are locally sourced, FDA approved and taste clean and pure. Many of our customers say, “It tastes like a really good tea!”

These special blends merge the science of aromatic terpenes with the breakthrough technology of personal vaporizers. Alchemist Alley tinctures took things one step further and applied traditionally mastered botanical knowledge and yogic uses of concentrated aromas, enhancing the user’s experience. We are ecstatic to be offering botanically-based tinctures as an effective and affordable means of delivering highly-valued and scientifically proven aromatic flavors to our conscious senses.

Every Tincture Formula is comprised of scientifically tested and formulated whole-plant extracted, organic flavors technically called ‘terpenes.’ Using proprietary methods, these flavors are processed with a base of 100% vegetable glycerin. Our vaping liquids have no nicotine, synthetics, or illegal substances.

Q: What are Terpenes?

Organic compounds that make up botanical flavors & aromas are called TERPENES – e.g., menthol and limonene. They are naturally occurring hydrocarbons, emitted by many trees and plants. They have strong smells and are responsible for the aromas of the vegetation in which they are found. Plants that produce terpenes often possess smells and flavors we find pleasing and are known as aromatic herbs.

Terpenes are the largest class of plant compounds on planet Earth and our human bodies respond positively to their effects. Those effects may be of a relaxing, anti-anxiety nature. Or impart a sense of euphoria or well-being or a thermogenic charging. They are well suited as substitutes/alternatives for recreational substances such as caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, etc.

Aromatic plants have been used by cultures around the world, not only for perfumery and cooking, but also as medicine. The distinctive flavor and smell of each aromatic plant is caused by its unique blend of terpenes.

Q: What are your ingredients?

Our ingredients are pure and simple:

Vegetable glycerin and whole-plant extracts which are FDA approved as food additives. We comply with Australian standards and regulations regarding botanicals — some of the strictest in the world.

Alchemist Alley eLiquids are alcohol free, gluten free, and vegan. They will never contain artificial colors, synthetic flavors, propylene glycol, sweeteners or any other additives.

We work with a large array of commonly known European herbs and spices that have been traditionally used over thousands of years. Many find that they are very familiar with most of the flavors and aromas once they try them.

As part of our company culture, all of our staff and founders regularly use and enjoy our Botanic tinctures. Purity and quality of ingredients are important in our everyday lives and this is applied to the way we craft Alchemist Alley tinctures products.

It is becoming a growing concern that many tinctures currently sold contain artificial or synthetic colors and flavors as well as other unknown chemicals. We do not agree that these substances should be used in any part of any product we consume and you won’t find them here!

Q: What are your flavors?

We have no flavors other than the sun kissed pure extracts that are provided to you end source from our alchemist alley fields straight to your vape pen.

Q: What if I am allergic to or wish to avoid certain flavors or am worried about pharmaceutical interactions?

If you think you are allergic to specific herbs or are using pharmaceuticals that have known negative interactions with common culinary herbs and flavors, please consult your doctor. Also, be sure to read our DISCLAIMER.

Please note that Alchemist Alley tinctures products are not intended for medicinal use and no claims regarding such are made. We are a wellness lifestyle company and our product line is to be enjoyed recreationally by those who are healthy in mind, body and spirit. If you have an aversion to and wish to avoid a particular herb please contact us and we can indicate which formulas fall into that group so you are sure to be happiest with your selection.

Food allergies affect about 2 percent of adults in the United States. While more than 160 foods can cause allergic reactions in people with food allergies, the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCA) has identified the eight most common allergenic foods. These eight foods account for 90 percent of food allergic reactions. They are: milk, eggs, fish (such as bass, flounder, cod), crustacean shellfish (such as crab, lobster, shrimp), tree nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, pecans), peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. Alchemist Alley tinctures Formulas contain no trace of these allergens, nor do they contain vegetable oils such as those used in cooking, etc.

Q: Why do Botanic Vaping Tonic eLiquids cost more than others?

Highest quality ingredients come with a higher price. The aromatic flavors we use are not lab-made, but instead come straight from the whole-plant! We source locally from reputable, certified organic farms in New Jersey. Every ingredient has been thoroughly tested for impurities and safety.

Purchasing a Botanic Vaping Tonic eLiquid is an investment in quality and an honorable way to treat yourself – body, mind & soul!

A good majority of eLiquids on the market use synthetic flavoring mixed with some amount of PG or propylene glycol. Gaia Hemp tinctures use only 100% Vegetable Glycerin or VG as their base. VG is the most basic and neutral of plant extracts. It is widely used as a food additive and is deemed safe by the FDA. VG is preferred to PG for its impressive vapor production, sustainability and simplicity. Higher cost for certified organic VG is one of the main reasons other companies may opt for PG.

The only way we can take the above purity one step further is through the vessels that house them! And we do take that step. All parts of our process include either stainless steel or glass. We package in amber glass bottles to protect from sunlight and air as well as avoiding harmful plastics that leach BPA and other chemicals. We use only phenolic droppers in both bottles and vials, assuring longevity and purity with our botanical extracts.

What are the benefits of vaping Alchemist Alley tinctures if they are nicotine free?
There is a global need for proven vaping products that deliver life-enhancing, purely botanic benefits as an alternative to recreational drugs such as tobacco and alcohol.

Each Alchemist Alley tinctures uniquely integrates advanced tech and world-class vaping with your personal lifestyle – affecting you when you choose, how you choose and wherever you choose. We have developed this revolutionary product for pleasurable and conscious purposes while catering to those drawn to a Wellness Lifestyle.

Vaporizers can efficiently deliver a whole entourage of beneficial terpenoids and flavonoids when organic flavors are used. As a self-controlled device, a vaping pen enables observable titration – self-administration of vapor flavor in small, stepped amounts. This advantage, as a means to enjoy the wholeness of nature without plant combustion, cannot be overvalued.

‘Nature-identical’ flavors have the same molecular shape but not molecular frequency, which scientists now know is how our odorant neural receptor system works. http://aeon.co/magazine/science/quantum-biology-the-uncanny-order-of-life/

Q: Why is vaping better than smoking?

Alchemist Alley tinctures is a very pleasant and aromatic way to enjoy those unique sensations you loved while smoking tobacco and other herbs. Tobacco companies mix hundreds of additives to the basic herb and they do so without concern for the repercussions of certain harmful additives.

Tobacco and plant smoke in general has been proven to be hazardous to our respiratory systems. This is largely because of plant combustion, a direct result of burning the plant material. This is entirely different from the delicate and therapeutic herbal aromas and flavors that plants give off. When a Alchemist Alley tinctures is heated to the right temperature, it evaporates without combustion.

Nicotine smokers who haven’t strolled down Gaia Hemp tinctures don’t know what they are missing. With Alchemist Alley tinctures, you experience enjoyable benefits similar to ‘smoking’, but instead of the “Kiss of Death” you get the “Breath of Life.”

Q: I thought vaping was just for smokers. What makes Alchemist Alley great for non-smokers too?

Our botanic eLiquid is free of nicotine and does not involve combustion or smoke — water vapor replaces carcinogenic smoke when vegetable glycerin is vaporized. It is, however, full of flavors and aromas that our bodies respond positively to – usually in the form of stress relief. The vapor produced is smooth and gentle with complexly layered natural tastes and aromas. Vaping in this manner is simply another, more direct, way of participating in aromatherapy.

People with no interest in either smoking or nicotine are finding huge wellness benefits and enjoyment from breathing in scientifically and botanically formulated Alchemist Alley tinctures.

Q: I already have a vaporizer. Will these tonics work in it?

Most vaporizers now on the market will accommodate Alchemist Alley tinctures. However, we highly recommend you avoid using models made with plastics and glues. Those devices were designed for non-organic synthetic flavors. Because our tasty formulas are layered with literally the highest quality FDA approved botanic and lab-tested flavorings available on earth, we recommend vaporizers that do not affect their pure, rich and subtle tastes; and that aren’t made from Polycarbonate or ‘PC’ plastic, which can leech toxic Bisphenol A (BPA).

Our Alchemist Alley tinctures work particularly well with Pyrex, ceramic or glass vaporizers such as the ones you will find here on our site. We are making these available to our customers at an affordable price because we know that cheaper vaporizers and tanks are only meant to work with synthetically flavored liquids.

Q: Will they work with my Mod?

High sub-ohm temperatures may harshly break-up terpene and terpenoid flavors. Botanical tinctures works best with batteries in the 3.2-4.8 volt range and coils in the .8-2.5 ohm range.

Many of our customers drip and use mods and have reported very positive and tasty experiencing using our tincturesin their device. When attempting use outside of the above parameters it’s all about trial and error and will often vary between each formula.

Q: How long will a bottle last me?

Our herbal tinctures are comprised of Terpenes & Vegetable Glycerin — they are 100% botanical and last much longer than most other eLiquids comprised of PG and synthetic flavors. With a 14ml size bottle, expect 3-4 weeks of use when vaping occasionally on a daily basis; 2 weeks for more continual everyday use. The 5ml vial size can last 1-3 weeks depending on frequency of use.

Q: What is Vegetable Glycerin?

Vegetable Glycerin is rapidly replacing Propylene Glycol as the medical industry’s preferred choice for use as an inhalant base for asthmatic inhalers, etc. It is also used as a substitute for alcohol in making botanical extracts. The advantage of this is that people who do not want to be exposed to alcohol can still have access to the botanical products.

From WiseGeek.com: Vegetable glycerin is a carbohydrate that is usually derived from plant oils. It is used as a sweetener and as an ingredient in a number of cosmetic products. Vegetable glycerin is also used in place of alcohol to extract botanicals.

Vegetable glycerin is made from the oils and fats of a plant-based ingredient, generally coconut or palm oil. The oil is heated to a high temperature under pressure with water. The glycerin backbone splits off from the fatty acids, and is absorbed by the water, from which it is then isolated and distilled.

Glycerin is an organic compound composed of three carbon atoms, hydrogen atoms, and three OH groups. These OH groups form hydrogen bonds with water, slowing down its movement and giving liquid glycerin the property of a syrup. It is also resistant to freezing, a property used in storing sensitive liquids, such as enzymes, in laboratory freezers.

Food-grade vegetable glycerin is 99.7% pure, with the remaining 0.3% being water. It has a sweet taste, but is metabolized differently than sugar and does not raise blood sugar levels. Glycerin is used in foods marketed as being low in carbohydrates to keep them sweet and moist. It also does not contribute to bacterial tooth decay.
